A Message From Basic Science Teaching Space Working Group

Hi There!

Do you have any thoughts about the classrooms and teaching spaces you use here at McGill? Would you like to have a say in how things could be changed?

Please take our 5-10 minute survey on teaching spaces in the basic science Departments of the Faculty of Medicine. We want to hear your opinions on what is working well and your proposed solutions to space issues that you believe would enhance your learning!

Your feedback is invaluable and will be used to make a case for improvements to your teaching spaces. Student voices on this subject carry a lot of weight with decision makers! Your participation is extremely important – we want to hear from you to gain a better understanding of the student perspective and know what changes you would like to see here at McGill. Please complete the survey by November 21st!

Thank you for your time,

Dr. Claire Trottier and Dr. Nicole Ventura

Become (perhaps) a Champion: Register for Intramurals

We hope you all are excited for another year in the human genetics department. Why not maintain momentum and high energy through the semester by playing a recreational sport with your peers! All skill levels are welcome! We will be funding an intramural 7v7 soccer team and volleyball team this year at half cost. Depending on the number of participants, those activities should be available for 5-10$ for the season.

If you are interested in joining us for one or both of these sports teams this fall semester, please send us an email at hgssmcgill@gmail.com by Friday, September 22, 2017, so that we can finalize the costs for each member and register you online for the team.

Enrique Gamero Estevez will also be putting together a basketball team so if you would like to join that team please send him an email at Enrique.gameroestevez@mail.mcgill.ca for further details.

Looking forward to seeing you all out on the field/court!
